Second Thursday

It’s our second Thursday in Thailand having arrived late last Sunday and I wanted to write about Coeliac disease. So far we’ve eaten out every evening and lunchtime, and eaten cornflakes every morning for breakfast (I know they contain barley but between 20ppm and 200ppm is so small, and is what I grew up healthily with, so not the sort of thing I’ll worry about).
And despite a ‘brave’ approach to eating and some potentially poor translations of “wheat”, “soya sauce” and “oyster sauce”, I’m yet to suffer a glutening!
Koh Samui, I think, is a safe place for a prepared coeliac traveller.
